~ we are chiwasu ?!

his royal highness has been slacking. a lot. hell lot.

it’s such a rare treat that days could simply pass on without much thinking involved. the cycles that keep a human functioning continues to keeps in motion despite our lack of concern about it. he wonders if this is how people in comas feels… since we continue to breath and our hearts continue to beat…

then again, it’s an occasion that allows lots of thoughts clearing. considering the mind weren’t focus on superficial stuffs such as ____ (do fill in the blanks yourself on what you think is superficial…). and so, he did some thoughts sorting. or at least, he tried. he did.

been watching tv shows. local productions mind you. although everyone has been saying that mediacorp shows stinks to the core, with their mindless easy to guess plots, crappy endings, it has been improving.

for instances, with that 黄金路 (the golden path). it started out perfectly fine. despite the haphazard ending, it’s an improvement of previous mediacorp productions which was really crap.

next with 谜图 (hmm… the drama title is something like that, right?), every starting and ending of each episodes seems new. the idea with someone narrating is fresh. similar to what 元曲 (yuan dynasty drama productions) does. it’s called a 楔子, functioning as a speech, interlude, end note, prelude to the story. his royal highness likes this new style that has been adopted into the ‘newer’ mediacorp shows.

the thoughts of the main characters and plots seem clearer. we now know more about their inner thoughts, feelings and thoughts on life. it made the show a lot better. although the show 谜图 had a crappy ending too. still, it was a gigantic improvement to previous. kudos to the producer with the new elements placed in… didn’t they say always to learn from the ancient chaps? =)

at now, it’s 变奏曲 (rhythm of life), a show starring christopher lee, and 3 of the 七公主. once again, the show has 楔子 element. and his highness been watching the show because of that, not to mentioned the story line that seems common, normal but true. at least to the bare minimum, it reflects slightly more real life situations that are closer to the heart. with best friends turning over each other over women. someone treating another as a substitute for another, etc. what more can we ask?

to his highness, 变奏曲 explains to himself and to the world why he has not started hunting. hunting. yes. the word is hunting. coined by some of his mates and others. they called it a hunt. surprising, they seem prided at placing him at the top of the predator chain.

a pity.
