the match that will decided the fate of spain and sweden breezing into the euro quarter-finals. so here’s another LIVE blog text cast.

a slow start by greece, showing nothing of the might of the defending champions. where’s the one goal miracle from greece that breeze them to the euro 2004? hmm… his highness thinks that one goal magic was dispelled after 4 years?

and it’s boring play from greece… and lots of good skills and aggression shown on the russian side. and at 33′, a GOAL was scored by the russians. and that’s due to a silly mistake from the greece goalkeeper. shocking news.

a kick from russia sends the ball running for a obvious corner. but the goalkeeper RUNS out off to the side to grab the ball? what was he thinking leaving his goal home? CRAZY

the ball gets a back kick, curving back into the game. that makes the ball still a LIVE one and that means… it’s a potential goal! as his royalness watch… he was thinking… OH NO…

and bingo! jackpot! another russian player goes running in, tips the ball in while the greece players were still puzzled by their goalkeeper who ran OUT?

GOAL!!! omg. and the goalkeeper was the one who probably book a ticket for the greeces to return home… and he’s supposed to be an experienced player with many international appearances. that blunder will most certainly end his career.

and if greece doesn’t do a miracle or buck up, it’s shape up or shit out for them.

and it seems in the second half, with a goal at hand, russia ain’t performing. on the other hand, it’s all greece time. greece with many good shots and aggressive play. but those were all cleared by the russian goalkeeper, who looks really FUNNY in bright green jersey… strangely, he reminds his royalness of william hung…

and then.. russia almost scores! and the greece goalkeeper attempts to redeems himself by saving the ball. and there’s lots of really fast counterattacks from the russians.

and the keeper dives OUT. AGAIN? russia nearly scores! alas, the greece defenders came in time. still, this has been a dry spell season for the greeces.

boring running around shooting around. and so it seems that the russians and the greece simply enjoys falling over, and tripping over… AND falling on top of each other. it seems that falling over each other is pretty much a normal for this night. the sweden vs. spain game was pretty much the same.

10 mins to full time (FT). and the free kicks that gets awarded to russia steps closer and closer to the greece goal… and still the russians miss. amazing. the russians are fast. very fast. it’s a pity their striker’s aint’t world class.

6 more mins. the game continues to be played in greece’s half. it seems the greece have not much space to retaliate. it’s goodbye for the greece? perhaps so.

and greece scores? it wasn’t counted…cos the FLAG was up. and that’ looking bad for the greeces…s

3 mins stoppage time. and russia nearly scores again… lol… greece’s header MISSES..

and it’s over. GREECE’s OUT and is on the way home.
