and it’s NTU convocation 2008, July 22 edition. des, wc and hui ling (crystal’s interesting friend) have all graduated from ntu accountancy!!! it’s a pity hui ling (she belong to the earlier session) left early and didn’t stay for the evening session. it’ll be fun to meet up a bit. oh well, just no luck for his royal higness…
still, he is glad and honored to be with boys to witness wc and des’s graduation. the ntu holding area’s pretty much grander than the one at ucc for the nus graduation ceremony which was held one week before.
he was pretty much impressed with it. fuji did commented that it was pretty good. until both he and his highness saw this:-
everything was going on well… until his highness and a few others spotted this:-
what was this chap doing in white sneakers in his graduating gown? didn’t he read the rules/guidelines/standings that one must be properly dress? he’s simply underdress….
if you couldn’t see properly in the photo, he was in jeans too. oops… disrespect for the occassion? perhaps…
jeans + white jeans + gown = a fashion DISASTER
note: his highness and gang caught him walking out of the hall in jeans, sneakers and gown.

and this youtube clip is a classic one. and there has been lots of variation for it. the flash version, the jingle version and even the maple story version. his highness think the above posted version should the original version with subtitles added.
wy was the first one who told his royal highness about it. and just hours ago, bibi shared the infamous link back with his highness. then again, classics never die. don’t they?
still, it’s a bit offensive. though it’s all done in the name of humor.

In Singapore , the majority of us live in Highly Dangerous Buildings (HDB). And most people have already got used to Paying and Paying (PAP).

And forced to live on the Loan Techniques Always (LTA) system.When you fall sick and happen to be admitted to a Money Operating Hospital (MOH),
You might be able to use your Cash Prior to Funeral (CPF) fund.
If you are out of luck, you may meet doctors who Never Use Heart (NUH) to treat you, and you will be Sure to Give up Hope (SGH).
To help ease the traffic, motorists have to pay Cash On Expressway (COE).
If that doesn’t help, they can always Eternally Raise Prices (ERP) on the roads.
If you don’t own a car, you can always make a Bad Rush to the Train (MRT) OR get squashed in a bus Side By Side (SBS).
Lastly, under all these pressures, there are not many places we can relax, not even the good old place we used to go because it has become So Expensive and Nothing To See Actually (SENTOSA)!!!

this video is really funny. apparently they had put a lot of hard work in production of this home-made video for the school project. kudos to pokemon aka pegan. titled ‘our basic tune’, it seems that the theme and atmosphere of the video went just fine! and beyond!!! [edit 03] they even had a NG portion. PRICELESS.
